I have too many feelings about this game. The Realm of the Dead is by far my favorite section, and the dropping of the gauntlet is perhaps my favorite moment in any King's Quest game (or Sierra game in general). Only Alexander of Daventry is awesome enough to defeat Death himself with nothing but his wits and his heroic kleptomania.

Listened to/watched a playthrough on Youtube while working on this one. So worth it. [link]

I feel spoiled by King's Quest VI. I found myself unimpressed by all other high fantasy resurrection plots I ever encountered because of it.
